Peoples Landing House Rules
All guests/visitors shall abide by the House Rules at all times.
Failure to abide by these rules or any part of the Rental Agreement may result in eviction.
These House Rules are posted in each home and at Peopleslanding.com.

FIRE EXTINQUISHER
Located in laundry area.
SEPTIC SYSTEM - INCLUDES ALL SINKS, TOILETS AND DRAINS
No food, grease or oils of any kind down any drains or toilets.
No personal hygiene items down toilet.....toilet paper only!
No disposable wipes of any kind...please.
SMOKING POLICY
No smoking or vaping in any home.
No open flames in any home...candles, etc...
THERMOSTAT
Please keep air conditioner set to 75 or above.
Please keep all doors and windows closed.
NO PARTIES
Exceptions must be approved in writing prior to arrival.
OWNERS CLOSET AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS
The master bedroom closet and garage doors should remain locked at all times for owner storage.
TRASH
Trash receptacles are conveniently located on the property.
Ask owner for exact location.
Keep all trash cleaned up at all times. No Littering!
WEAPONS/FIREARMS
No weapons or firearms allowed on the property at any time.
SAFETY FIRST AT ALL TIMES
No running on premises.
Shoes are suggested throughout the property and water due to natural surroundings.
PARKING
Two assigned parking spaces per home for mid-sized vehicles. For larger vehicles limit one in front.
There is additional limited parking available by request prior to arrival a short walk from the home.
All parking must be done in a considerate & courteous manner as to not adversely affect other guests parking nor damage the grounds.
Additional parking must be approved prior to arrival due to limited availability.
WINDOWS & DOORS
All windows and doors should remain closed at all times.
QUIET HOURS......SILENT HOURS
Quiet hours are from dark until 8 a.m.
Silent hours are from midnight until 8 a.m.
SWIMMING........SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
No lifeguard on duty.
Always exercise safety and caution as the lake is an all natural environment.
Beware of others.
NO WET FEET, CLOTHING , ETC.....IN HOMES
NO GLASS IN COMMON AREAS
ALCOHOL POLICY
Discreet use only!
No drunks allowed on premises.
FURNITURE/FIXTURES
Do not move or re-arrange furniture or fixtures without prior owner approval.
CLEANING THE HOME
Peoples Landing requires that all guests leave the home in the same condition as received.
Example- Kitchen must be left cleaned and all dishes put away(or left clean in the dishwasher).
Homes not left as received are subject to additional cleaning fees.
LINENS PROVIDED FOR 6 GUESTS
We change and clean all linens. You do not have to remove the linens from the beds.
Leave towels on washer.
NO NUISANCES, LOUD, BOISTEROUS, PROFANE, DRUNKEN OR DESTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR ALLOWED.
COMMON AREAS ARE SHARED BY ALL GUESTS
Leave all common areas as you found them.
No littering.
No glass in common areas.
Clean before you leave the area, please.
NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED
GRILLING AND FIREPIT
Use of the grill and/or fire pit at your risk only.
No grills on private decks allowed.
Use only grills provide Peoples Landing.
NO PETS ALLOWED
Due to shared common areas all work/service animals:
a) Must remain on a leash and accompany the owner at all times.
b) Must not be left unattended at any time in the home or common areas.
c) Must have all waste promptly cleaned up and disposed in the outside trash cans.
e) Must not be allowed to use the beach or bathing area as restroom at any time...others use these areas.
MOORING....USE OF PIER
Use of the dock/pier is at your risk only.
No wake within 100 feet of the dock at all times.
We are not responsible for any boat or watercraft docked at Peoples Landing.
VISITORS
Up to 6 non-overnight visitors may be allowed at no charge.
Visitors allowed only with prior approval due to limited availability.
